Healing Modalities Offered at OCEH

Energy Healing is an all encompassing term for gentle, non-invasive healing modalities that work to restore balance to the body's natural energy systems. Based on the understanding that physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being are deeply interconnected, energy healing aims to clear blockages, release stagnant energy, and support the body’s innate ability to heal itself.

 

Each session is tailored to meet you where you are at on your healing journey by focusing on your current needs and the areas where you are feeling you need support. Drawing from a range of healing modalities— including reiki, sound healing, and biofield tuning—we integrate all or a combination of these approaches to best support your overall well-being and align with your personal preferences. Additional supportive elements such as the use of essential oils, carefully selected crystals, and the gentle burning of sacred herbs may also be incorporated to enhance the experience and deepen your healing.

Reiki

The practice of reiki & energy healing has been around for centuries in cultures all over the world. Energy Healing is a technique operating off the premise that our bodies have energy centres, energy flows through these centres, and that healing can come from helping to balance the energy's flow.

​

REIKI =  Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life force energy."

​

Clare uses various hand positions either directly on or hovering over the different energy centres of someones body to support energy flow and to activate a deeply renewing healing experience. Clare acts as a channel between the physical and the spiritual world using her unique gifts to receive messages and information to share with the client.

​

Clare incorporates both classic Usui Reiki as well as Shamanic Reiki techniques into each treatment.

Sound Healing
Sound Healing is a deeply relaxing and renewing experience. 
Sound waves are produced using various instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, the human voice, etc. These sound waves don't necessarily have a catchy melody or rhythm like you may have experienced at a concert or listening to the radio but, instead, they are a carefully selected wash of instrument and voice with notable resonance and overtones aiming to help ease you into relaxation, aid in the release of unwanted tension or emotion, and to help balance your energy.

Biofield Tuning

Biofield Tuning is a specific type of sound healing where weighted and unweighted tuning forks are used to enhance healing and relaxation. The tuning forks are placed on different reflex points, meridian lines, as well as over and around the energy centres/chakras and act as lightening rods for positive energy to enter the person's energy field.

 

In addition, the subtle vibration of the tuning forks helps to ease tension and melt away body pain. Biofield Tuning can be a great treatment option if you hold a lot of tension or pain in your physical body.
